At the age of 67, actor Akhil Mishra, well known for his part in the Aamir Khan film “3 Idiots,” passed away on Thursday. According to his spokeswoman, he fell at home in Mumbai just one day later, on Wednesday night.
The statement added that Akhil Mishra had been having problems with his blood pressure before an incident in his kitchen resulted in fatal injuries.
He collapsed while attempting to do something on a chair in the kitchen, suffering injuries to his head and back, the spokesperson said in a statement to PTI. Later, his family and neighbors hurried him to the hospital.
Suzanne Bernert, Akhil Mishra’s second wife, was in Hyderabad for a shoot when he passed away. The actor Manoj Bajpayee expressed his sorrow at Mishra’s passing on social media.
On the microblogging website, Manoj Bajpayee said, “Rest in peace, Akhil Mishra Ji! This is shocking beyond belief! May God provide you inner tranquillity and peace! OMG Shanti.
Alongside Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi in “3 Idiots,” He played the part of Librarian Dubey. He has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows. Among the movies and television shows in which he appeared were “Don,” “Gandhi, My Father,” “Udaan,” and “Shrimaan Shrimati.”
