Michael Douglas, a seasoned actor from Hollywood, will attend the India International Film Festival. He provided supporters with an update.

Michael Douglas expressed his “honour” as it was revealed that he would receive the coveted Satyajit Ray Excellence in Film Lifetime Award at the International Film Festival of India.

Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur, shared exciting news on Friday, revealing that IFFI Goa will bestow a unique honor upon Douglas.

In his announcement on social media, Thakur expressed his joy, saying, “I’m thrilled to declare that Michael Douglas will be honored at the illustrious Bollywood Film Festival.”

Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, stated on Friday that Douglas will be honoured at IFFI Goa.

The International Film Festival of India, which will take place in Panjim from November 20–28 this year, will honour Douglas with the prize.

Michael Douglas’s output

 The 79-year-old actor is the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the AFI Life Achievement Award, two Academy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Golden Globe Awards.

The Experiment, a CBS Playhouse special from 1969, gave him his first major break on television. It was the only occasion he was credited as M.K. Douglas. He costarred with Karl Malden in The Streets of San Francisco, which was his first prominent role.

In addition to Falling Down, The American President, The Ghost and the Darkness, The Game, A Perfect Murder, and many others, he also starred in other well-received films.
