Kushi Movie Review: Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha’s Romantic Drama Delivers High Expectations

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, actor Vijay Devarakonda, and director Shiva Nirvana have teamed up following their individual failures, “Liger,” “Shakuntalam,” and “Tuck Jagadish.” Therefore, the performance of “Kushi” will greatly affect these three. Kushi’s success is essential in erasing the negative stigma associated with “Liger,” which is necessary if Vijay wants to pursue his aspiration of becoming a pan-Indian star. This movie has to make Samantha stronger if she wants to have a key role in Bollywood and possibly have a shot in Hollywood. She struggled beside Shakuntala. There will never be another lowly voyage like Tuck Jagadish, not even for Shiva.

Kushi is being produced and promoted on a massive scale by production company Mythri Movie Makers. Interest in the project has increased thanks to the music and trailer.

Kushi has all the makings of a hit at the movie office with gorgeous graphics and a family drama. Let’s watch how it performs.

The well-known atheist Lenin Satyam’s (Sachin Khedekar) son is named Viplav (Vijay Devarakonda). He voluntarily accepts an assignment in Kashmir after joining BSNL as an engineer because he wants to travel and experience life. He encounters Arha (Samantha) there, who identifies herself as a Muslim from Pakistan looking for her kidnapped younger brother. In order to get out of particular circumstances, Arha and her buddies (Shravya Pradeep) pretend to be Muslims even though she isn’t one. Instantly falling in love with her, Viplav tries to win her over by following her instructions. Viplav plays along since he thinks Arha is a Muslim and doesn’t realize that she is a software employee traveling to Kashmir on business.

Arha confesses that she is actually a Brahmin from Kakinada and the daughter of the famed spiritual leader Chadrangam Srinivas (Murali Sharma) after she and her friends depart Kashmir. Viplav is relieved to learn that Arha, whom he worships, also cares for him despite the shock he feels. They make the decision to persuade their relatives to recognize their love and approve of their marriage.

After some lighthearted family chats, Chadrangam consults their horoscopes and declares that their union will be troubled and that the only way for Viplav and his father to find peace and happiness is by engaging in religious rituals. Lenin Satyam brushes it off, which makes it difficult for them to be married. Viplav and Arha make the decision to proceed without their approval and demonstrate why they are the ideal couple.

Can a young couple challenge the renowned guru and astrologer Chadrangam? Will there be no issues or complications with their marriage?

Most of this section is effective. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Devarakonda look amazing together and redefine on-screen romance. However, the film gradually loses its focus as the plot becomes embroiled with conventional expectations like marriage, motherhood, etc.

The majority of the writing at this level is biased and dominated by men. It appears as though the disagreements between the couples are little and unimportant. The episode involving the characters of Rohini and Jayaram doesn’t add much to the story. The subplot about the fertility clinic seems forced. Rahul Ramakrishna and his servant are in a funny but pointless situation.

Excellent camera work is done by Murali. The music and score by Hesham Abdul Wahab have an impact. The story of Rohini and Jayaram is not thoroughly explored in the movie. The subplot about the fertility clinic seems forced. Rahul Ramakrishna and his servant are in a funny but pointless situation.

In conclusion, “Kushi” is a must-watch for fans of romantic dramas with a twist. It’s a film that tugs at your heartstrings, leaving you with a sense of warmth and hope. Whether you’re a fan of Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha or simply looking for a well-crafted love story, “Kushi” delivers on all fronts. Don’t miss out on this captivating cinematic journey that will leave you with a smile on your face and a renewed belief in the power of love.
