Veteran actress Saira Banu spoke lovingly of her recollections and her friendship with the eminent actor on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
Several Bollywood celebrities paid sincere homage to Dev Anand on the occasion of the iconic actor’s 100th birthday. On social media, a lot of people shared their respect for the late movie actor and talked about how much he had influenced them and the movie business.
Saira Banu, a seasoned actress, passionately recalled her recollections and her connection with Dev Anand during the homage. She recalled a time when Dev Anand expressed a desire to cast her mother, the adored actress Nasim Banu, in a crucial part during the production of Raj Khosla’s “CID” (1956). Shakila eventually received the part when Nasim Banu denied it because she and her brother Sultan Ahmed were both studying in London at the time, according to Saira Banu.

Dev Anand, who was born in Gurdaspur, Punjab, in 1923, lived a life that was passionate, romantic, and experimental.
