Why is BRICS important for India?

India’s foreign policy is against the dominance of any one country on the world. India supports a multipolar world. In such a situation, BRICS is necessary for India. The major reason for this is also that from its platform, India can speak openly against the dominance of western countries and it gets the support of other member countries. By joining this organization, India openly challenges the dominance of developed countries in many big organizations like WTO, World Bank and IMF.
