The teenage cook from Jalandhar, Punjab, became well-known after a social media video of him selling pizza went viral. This week, they became parents.
Sahaj Aroda and Gurpreet Kaur, the ‘Kulhad Pizza‘ celebrity couple from Punjab, have made a plea to the public in response to a viral video that purports to show them in a compromising scenario. The event has recently been linked to extortion, according to the new parents, who also claim that the viral video has been “manipulated.”
You must have watched our bogus video, I assure you. Its popularity is a result of a message we received 15 days ago on Instagram regarding extortion that included a video. The senders threatened to make the video viral if their demands weren’t met, but we refused to give in. We reported it to the police and filed a complaint,” Sahaj wrote on Thursday on his official Instagram account in Punjabi.
He continued by saying that shortly after submitting the case, the couple became busy because they had just become parents. With the words “…in the meantime, the video went viral… it’s fake and probably made using artificial intelligence,” they pleaded with the public to respect their privacy.
Several social media users came out in support of the pair as soon as this episode made headlines, calling it shameful and distressing. Despite comments being prohibited, both of the videos the couple posted to their Instagram accounts have received over two lakh views.
